HONORARY CONSUL MARIA MERA

Maria Mera is the Honorary Consul of Spain in Honolulu. A dual citizen of Spain and the United States, Maria was born and raised in Madrid and has lived in the U.S. since 2005. She has called Honolulu home since 2014, where she works as a dedicated financial advisor, serving her community with integrity and care.

As Honorary Consul, Maria is available to assist Spanish citizens in Hawai‘i and to strengthen cultural, economic, and community ties between Spain and the islands. Meetings are by appointment ONLY.

Outside of her professional and consular duties, Maria is an avid swimmer, practices Muay Thai, yoga, and lifts weights regularly — embracing an active, balanced lifestyle that reflects her commitment to well-being and personal growth.
